CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Four carjackers have been detained and a vehicle seized from them in northern Parwan province, police said on Sunday.
The vehicle recovered from the detainees was returned to its owner, police spokesman Mohammad Salim Noori said.
The Corolla-type vehicle, belonging to Abdul Qayyum, a resident of Dasht-i Hoofian village, was stolen in the Sunjid Dara village of Charikar, the capital of Parwan.
The spokesman added the perpetrators, hailing from the 17th police district of Kabul, were arrested by police with the stolen vehicle, which was returned to its owner.
He said the detainees had been referred to judicial organs for investigations.
