In a statement, MoD said ANA commandos raided the Taliban jail in the Charkh district of the province on Monday night.
At least 22 captives, including seven security personnel and 15 civilians, were freed from the illegal prison, the ministry said, adding three militants were captured and weapons and ammunition seized.
