KABUL (Pajhwok): With the 3-0 ODI sweep over Ireland, Afghanistan grabbed 30 points to climb up the International Cricket Council Cricket World Cup Super League ladder, above Pakistan, at No.4.
Afghanistan clinched the series against Ireland in Abu Dhabi of United Arab Emirates (UAE) 3-0.
The ICC Super League list:
Australia (1), Bangladesh (2), England (3) Afghanistan (4), Pakistan (5), Zimbabwe (6), Ireland (7), India (8) and West Indies located in 9th spot.
Australia have won four of their six games, Bangladesh three out of three, England three out of six, Afghanistan three out of three, Pakistan two out of three, Zimbabwe one out of three, Ireland one out of six, India one out of three and West Indies lost all their three games.
New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Netherlands have so far played no game of Super League yet.
At the end of the Super League, when all teams played against each other, the eight teams will make it directly to the World Cup and the other two teams will play special matches.
