CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): The police chief for central Parwan province escaped unhurt in a landmine blast in the provincial capital on Tuesday morning.

The police chief, Abdul Wasi Rahimi, told Pajhwok Afghan News that his vehicle struck a roadside bomb in Charikar, but he and other security personnel onboard remained unhurt.
