KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): After two decades, the Spinzar Cooking Oil factory in northern Kunduz province has resumed production, an official said on Thursday.
Deputy Kunduz Governor Abdul Satar Mirzakwal while addressing a gathering said the Spinzar Cooking Oil Factory resumed its activities after twenty years.
He said that the technical machinery of the factory has been imported from the neighbouring Uzbekistan and the factory has initiated its test production.
The governor said the factory has started to produce sesame, flaxseed, sunflower and almond cooking oils.
He added the factory had 35 workers and produces around 20 tons of cooking oil . . .
