JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least three policemen were wounded when a magnetic bomb affixed to a vehicle exploded in eastern Nangarhar province on Saturday, an official said.
Police Spokesman Farid Khan told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place in front of hotels near the Behsud Bridge in the limits if first police district.
He said three policemen who were injured in the blast had been evacuated to the civil hospital in Jalalabad, the provincial capital.
A spokesman for the hospital, however, said they had been delivered two bodies and two injured people from the scene.
An eyewitness Gulab said the police ranger was passing by when the bomb exploded. He said four people were taken to hospital from the scene, but he did not know if they were dead or injured.
No one has claimed responsibility for the blast.
