KABUL (Pajhwok): The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Tuesday claimed busing a joint Haqqani network-Islamic State terrorist cell involved in targeted assassinations.
The spy agency in a statement said the cell consisted of senior members of Daesh and Haqqani network was responsible for transporting explosives, targeted assassinations and serial killings.
It said the cell members were responsible for killing several members of security forces in addition to committing countless crimes against the citizens of the country.
The cell increased its financial and income resources for destructive activities through abduction of citizens.
The statement claimed the Taliban, the Haqqani network and Daesh were conducting operations in a tactical alignment especially in big cities.
The Taliban have said nothing in this regard so far.
