Defence minister’s driver shot dead in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead the driver of Defence Minister Asadullah Khalid, according to security official on Sunday.

Defence Minister Khalid’s driver was gunned down on Saturday night in the Fourth Macroryan area in the limits of 9^th Police District of Kabul City, according to the source. The driver’s little son was also killed in the incident.

“Armed men forced their way into the driver house and killed him and his son,” the source said.

No group claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
