JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Four people, including a policeman, lost their lives in two separate gun attacks in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, on Tuesday morning.
Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a police vehicle in the third police district of the city at 07:40am, killing one policeman and wounding two others, a local official said.
Requesting not to be named, the official told Pajhwok Afghan News gunmen attacked a vehicle in Jalalabad’s fourth police district 20 minutes later.
At least three people were killed in the second incident, including two policemen and a doctor. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks.
