KABUL (Pajhwok): One person was killed and two others wounded when a roadside bomb tore through their vehicle in Bagrami district of central Kabul province on Saturday.
Kabul police spokesman Firdous Faramarz confirmed the incident and said a corolla type vehicle struck a landmine in limits of Bagrami district at around 9am on Saturday morning.
He said that one individual in the car was killed and two others wounded in the blast.
He said the wounded were evacuated to hospital but he had no information about their condition.
The police spokesman said three blasts took place on Saturday in Kabul’s 18th, eighth police districts and also Paghman district.
He added perpetrators of the blasts could not be arrested as yet but police had started investigations.
The back to back blasts follow a brief lull in such incidents in Kabul.
