HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): A clash in Jibrail Township in the capital of western Herat province has left 40 people injured, an official said on Thursday.
Ibrahim Mohammadi, head of the Herat ambulance service, told Pajhwok Afghan News 40 individuals were wounded in a clash between Habibullah Ghoryani’s gunmen and the security personnel.
He added the wounded included five security personnel and 35 civilians. Two children and one woman were among the civilians wounded.
Mohammadi said three of the wounded were in critical condition.
Governor Sayed Abdul Wahid Qatali confirmed the arrest of a few guards of Ghoryani. He said . . .
