8 Taliban killed, 4 injured in Kunduz raid

KABUL (Pajhwok): Eight Taliban insurgents were killed and four others wounded during a security operation in northern Kunduz province, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said on Friday.

The ministry in a statement said the operation was carried out last night in the village of Baz Kandahari in Kunduz city, the provincial capital, in coordination with security and defense forces.

Eight Taliban insurgents were killed and four others wounded in the operation, the statement added.

Ammunitions were also seized from the Taliban during the operation.

The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
