KABUL (Pajhwok): The contract for construction of terminal building at the airport in Jaghori district of southern Ghazni province was signed on Saturday between Afghanistan Civil Aviation Authority (ACAA) and a private company.
A statement from ACAA received by Pajhwok Afghan News said ACAA head, Mohammad Qasim Wafayezada and Mohammad Munir, head of Ayendagar Company signed the contract.
At the signing ceremony ACAA head, Hasibullah Sarosh and other officials of the authority, a parliament member from Ghazni Khudada Erfani and provincial council members were also present.
The statement added that the contract worth 38.8 million afghanis included construction of enclosure wall, fencing and building of Jaghori Airport’s terminal.
ACAA head, Hasibullah Sarosh said that the project would be under their close watch and the construction company’s work would be monitored for quality and work speed.
