Gas, fuel prices declined in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): The prices of liquefied gas, Russian gold and fuel have dipped during the outgoing week in capital Kabul, market sources said Saturday.

Mohmmad Omid Hussain, a wholesaler in Kabul Mandavi market, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the price of 49 kilograms of Kazakhstani flour was 1,700 Afghanis, 49 kilograms of Indian sugar 2,250 Afghanis, a tin of 16 liters of Malaysian ghee 1,600afs, 24kg of Pakistani rice 2,400afs and a kilogram of African black tea 320afs, the same rates of last week’s.

However, he said that the price of a kilogram of Indonesian green tea increased from 290afs t0 300afs.

Hamid Sufizada, a retailer in Dahan-e-Bagh area of Kabul, said that the price of 49kg of Kazakhstani flour was 1,800afs, 49kg of Indian sugar 2,350afs, 24kg of Pakistani rice 2,450afs, 16 a tin of 16 liters of Malaysian 1,650afs, a kilogram of Indonesian green tea 320afs and the same quantity of African black tea 350afs.

Gas and fuel rates declined.

Mohammad Sharif, a liquefied gas seller in Kulula Pushta area in Kabul city said that the price of a kilogram of the commodity was dipped from 65afs to 60afs this week.

Workers of Hashemi Fuel Station in Taimani area of Kabul said that the price of a liter of diesel decreased from 49afs to 48afs and the same quantity of petrol from 47afs to 45afs.

The price of Russian gold also dipped.

Mohamad Javid, a jeweler in Lycee Mariam area of Kabul, said that the price of one gram of Russian gold decreased from 2,850afs to 2,800afs while the same quantity of Arabian variety stood at 3,500afs.

Haji Hussain, owner of Sadaqat Money Exchanger Service in Kabul said that one US dollar accounted for 77.55afs and 1,000 Pakistani rupees 485afs, against last week’s 77.50afs and 485afs.
