KABUL (Pajhwok): Three fuel reservoirs and as many cargo vehicles were torched as a result of a fire at at a port in western Farah province, the Ministry of Finance said on Sunday.
The blaze erupted on Saturday noon at the Sheikh Abu Nasr Farahi Port on the Afghan-Iran border.
The ministry said the fire was extinguished after hours of joint efforts by Afghan and Iranian officials.
Without elaborating, the ministry said three fuel reservoirs and three cargo vehicles were burned as a result of the fire eruption.
