Ghani tasks Commission to investigate Adil, his family killing

FIROZKOH (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani has appointed a delegation to investigate the murder of Director in-charge of Ghor Radio, Bismillah Adil and members of his family.

Unidentified gunmen killed Bismillah Adil around two months ago and the government links these gunmen to members of Ghor provincial council.

Two weeks ago unidentified gunmen killed two family members of the now deceased Bismillah Adil and wounded three others; government accuses Taliban for the crime.

Deputy operations of National Directorate of Security (NDS) and head of the investigative team, Ajmal Baloch Zada told Pajhwok Afghan News president Ashraf Ghani had appointed them to investigate the murder case of Bismillah Adil and his family members.

He added members of the investigative team were from NDS, Independent directorate of local governance (IDLG), Ministry of Interior (MoI) and the attorney general’s office (AGO).

Balochzada said his team had begun investigating the case on Sunday and they would share results of the investigation after thorough and unbiased assessment.

Family members of Bismillah Adil carried photos of their dead and wounded family members and at the airport asked the delegation to investigate both the cases.

Gul Mohammad, father of the family at the Ghulam Mohayuddin Ghori airport told the investigative delegation, my sons were killed for no obvious reason and these are their clothes covered in blood; I demand of you to arrest those who killed my sons and destroyed our family so that we could believe the government was looking after us.

Mother of the family said they killed my innocent sons and later killed my other son and grandson and we ask of you to enforce justice and disclose murderers of my sons.
