4 security personnel killed, 6 injured in Daikundi attack

NELLI (Pajhwok): Four local security personnel have been killed and six others injured in the Taliban attack in central Daikundi province, an official said on Tuesday.

Assistant Governor Mohammad Ali Uruzgani told Pajhwok Afghan News the Taliban stormed security personnel’s check posts midnight in the Pato district.

He said four personnel of local military were killed and six others injured after heavy exchange of fire.

According to Uruzgani the injured had been shifted to the hospital for treatment.

He added Pato district of Daikunid had been under the Taliban threat over the past few months.
