KABUL (Pajhwok): Over 1,500 candidates appeared in an exam of vocational training at Afghan-Korean Institute on Tuesday, an official said.

Jalal Koshan, head of the Afghan-Korean Institute, said 800 students with high marks would be picked for the training in different skills.

The institute offers training in electricity, construction, wielding, car mechanic, plumbing, sewing, computer and English Language.

He said after the course completion, efforts would be made to explore work opportunities for the graduates.

According to Koshan, the graduates register themselves in the human resource section of the institute and in case of work opportunity they will be contacted.

He said the Afghan-Korean Institute was established back in 2004 and so far it graduated 7,700 individuals with professional training in different areas.

Referring to transparency of examination, he said: “The examination process is totally transparent and every individual gets their rights.”

Ahmad ZahirAhmadi, one of the participants, said: “I wish every candidate gets what they deserve and no one’s right is violated.”
