MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Ulema Council members and dozens of women in northern Faryab province on Monday protested against the provincial intelligence chief who they said raided civilian houses at midnight and arrested several women, children and men.
The protestors said that the provincial National Directorate of Security (NDS) chief had arbitrary raided people’s houses midnight without coordination with the provincial attorney office and Ulema Council and arrested many men, women and children.
