KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) on Monday accused a private media outlet of involvement in the smuggling of explosives.
MoI spokesman Tariq Arian tweeted: “Unfortunately, we have found out that a private media outlet is involved in explosives trafficking.”
Without naming the media organisation, the official said the issue had raised disturbing questions and the ministry was trying to find answers to them.
A security official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News a video media outlet was involved in trafficking explosives.
Bomb explosions have increased recently in Kabul, harming civilians, security personnel, scholars and civil society activists.
