KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan Foreign Minister Hanif Atmar and his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu have discussed the Afghan peace process.
In a telephone conversation on Sunday, Cavusoglu and Atmar discussed the latest developments in the peace process, Anadolu news agency reported.
On March 13, the media outlet recalled, the two foreign ministers had conferred on a proposed conference on the peace process, slated for April in Istanbul.
During Sunday’s call, Cavusoglu congratulated Atmar on Nowruz — the Afghan new year that was celebrated yesterday.
