KABUL (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead an Afghan Air Force official in the Paghman district of the capital, a security source said on Sunday.
Firdos Faramarz, the Kabul police spokesman, confirmed the killing and said the incident happened in Bagh-i-Dawood area of the district at around 8pm on Saturday night.
He added no one had yet been arrested in connection with the crime. But the case is jointly being investigated by security forces.
A day prior to the incident, unidentified gunmen killed a security force member in the Qala-i-Ghaibi area of the seventh police district of Kabul.
