3 killed, 10 injured in Paghman bomb explosion

KABUL (Pajhwok): Several people killed or injured in a bomb explosion targeting a vehicle in Paghman district of capital Kabul on Sunday afternoon, police officials said.

Kabul police spokesman, Ferdaws Faramarz, told Pajhwok Afghan News that an explosives-laden vehicle was exploded by insurgents in Panja Chinar area of the district today afternoon.

He did not provide further details, but said more information about the incident would be shared with the media later.

However, another security official who wished to go unnamed, said that three people were killed and 10 others wounded in the incident.

The source said all the victims were civilians.

This comes as an Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier was killed and three others wounded in a roadside bombing in Qargha area of Paghman district on Sunday morning.

No groups have so far claimed responsibility for the attacks.
