KABUL (Pajhwok): Hundreds of protesters on Monday in Kabul demanded the arrest and punishment of of illegal militia commander Alipur who they called criminal.

The protesters gathered in front of EidGah Mosque chanting — Criminal Alipur spy Alipur, tyrant Alipur, he martyred our security personnel, we demand his arrest and punishment.

Shapour Hassanzoy, a lawmaker from Logar province, participated in the protest and said the nation is fed up with crimes of Alipur.

“We are fighting against Taliban and Daesh and Alipur is also a criminal who martyred security personnel and we are here to raise our voice against him,” he said.

He warned of massive protests if commander Alipur was not arrested till coming Saturday and security bosses did not resign from their posts.

Mohammad HussainUsmani, member of Southeastern Zone Council, said the people of southeastern zone had decided to stand against the crimes committed by Alipur and raise their voices.

He said the purpose of today’s protest was the implementation of law equally on everyone and seeking justice for all.

They also issued a resolution in which Alipur was dubbed as murderer and government was asked to immediately arrest him.
