KABUL (Pajhwok): In a major setback to peace efforts, the Taliban on Monday said they were not ready to attend a major conference in Turkey unofficially scheduled for April 16.
Taliban Qatar Office Spokesperson Dr. Naeem said they were not ready to attend the Turkey Conference. However, he did not say which date will suit them for the multilateral meeting on peace.
Earlier, there were reports that the Taliban were not willing to attend the Turkey meeting during the month of Ramadan.
