SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): A 24-year-old shepherd was killed and others were injured in a landmine blast in northern Sari Pul province yesterday, police said on Wednesday.
Police spokesman Noor Agha Faizi said the injured were 20 and 13 years old. The blast took place in Zanjak village, about 24 kilometers away from Sari Pul city, the provincial capital.
He said the three were herding sheep when the landmine exploded. The area is under Taliban’s control.
