KABUL (Pajhwok): Iranian Foreign Minister Jawad Zarifi has said that the Taliban should evolve them in a democratic system because their Islamic Emirate was not acceptable to anyone.
Addressing Raisina Dialogue 2021 Zarifi said if the Taliban wanted to revive their politics of 90s it was not possible anymore.
“Today’s Afghanistan is totally changed and if the Taliban wanted to return back to the 90s era it was not possible anymore,” he believed.
The Iranian foreign minister said: “There need that we should put aside our differences. The Taliban Islamic Emirate return was a huge threat for India, Afghanistan and Pakistan.”
He said Iran was ready to host Afghan peace talks.
