LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): One person was killed and three others wounded during an armed clash between gunmen loyal to a senator and the provincial police chief of southern Helmand province, a source said on Thursday.
A security source wishing anonymity told Pajhwok Afghan News HashimAlkozay, head of the Mesharano Jirga security and defence commission, and Brig. Gen. Wali Jan Sarhadi, the Helmand police chief, clashed on Wednesday night.
