JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Thirty-one Taliban, including militants red unit commander, have been killed and 13 others injured in eastern Nangarhar province, a security official said on Friday.
Col. Syed Maqsoud Sahibzada, spokesperson for Selab Military Corps, told Pajhwok Afghan News that joint forces have raided the Taliban positions in the Hesarak district’s Zarifkhelo locality in the past 24 hours.
He said 31 Taliban, including the Taliban red unit commander was killed and 13 others injured.
Afghan security forces did not suffer casualties during the attacks.
