KABUL (Pajhwok): President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has said that US and NATO economic and humanitarian assistance with Afghanistan will continue after the withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan, according to a statement from Presidential Palace on Friday.
The president said this during a meeting with officers and personnel of Atal Military Corps in Kandahar City. He said the country’s defence and security forces were at the core of his concentration.
“A new chapter of cooperation with international community will open after the pull out of foreign forces from Afghanistan. Our contracts with US and NATO will remain as it is and the international community economic and humanitarian assistance with Afghanistan will continue,” he said.
According to the US recent announcement the pull out of foreign forces from Afghanistan will begin in May and will be completed till September 11 this year.
Soon after US President Joe Biden announcement, NATO also announced he pull out of its forces from Afghanistan.
