KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan and the Commonwealth of Dominica have signed a joint communiqué on establishing diplomatic relations.
Afghanistan’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations said in a statement the document was inked in New York by Ambassador Adela Raz and Loreen Ruth Bannis-Roberts — permanent representative of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
Signed in early April, the communiqué underlines the importance of establishing a bilateral partnership between the states for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
At the signing ceremony, Raz rejoiced over translating strong relations between both delegations in New York to a commitment that could benefit the growth and development of both nations.
Bannis-Roberts shared Raz’s points and hoped for the expansion of cooperation between Afghanistan and Dominica, the Afghan mission added.
