GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): The police chief for southern Ghazni province on Tuesday said that Taliban militants arriving from different areas were engaged in fire-fights with security forces.
Police Chief Brig. Gen. HikmatullahKochai told Pajhwok Afghan News that the Taliban from neighbouring provinces --- Kandahar, Zabul, Paktika, Helmand and MaidanWardak ---had arrived in Ghazni and were engaged in fire fight with security personnel.
The Taliban forced people living close to security check-post to leave their homes, he said.
