Religious scholar gunned down in Nangarhar

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead a religious scholar in the Behsud district of eastern Nangarhar province, according to an eyewitness on Thursday.

The incident happened in the Yawalasemai Wyalai area on Wednesday, Abdul Karim the resident of locality said.

No group claimed responsibility for the incident while local official also did not comment.
