FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): At least 28 security forces have been killed after Taliban insurgents overran a check-post of the Afghan National Army (ANA) in the Bala Bolok district of western Farah province.
A credible source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News the militants blew up the check-post, using a tunnel, in Shiwan village of the district on Sunday night.
The source said 28 security personnel, including eight commandos, were killed and the security post had fallen into the hands of insurgents.
