GARDEZ (Pajhwok): The residents of southeastern Paktia province say the provincial industrial park was inaugurated by the president three years ago, but practical work on it has not been started so far.
President Ashraf Ghani during a trip to Gardez, the provincial capital, on April 1, 2018 formally inaugurated construction of the Paktia Industrial Park, but no practical work could be started on the project.
The president and some other senior government officials had promised ensuring security of the park, constructing its internal roads, providing adequate power and water to the park, but none of these promises could be fulfilled . . .
