KABUL (Pajhwok): The US withdrawal from Afghanistan has not been significantly affected by Taliban attacks, says the Pentagon.
“What we’ve seen are some small, harassing attacks over the course of the weekend that have not had any significant impact,” the Department of Dense spokesman said.
Sputnik quoted John Kirby as telling reporters that they had seen nothing thus far that had affected the drawdown or the US mission in Afghanistan.
The Defense Department was still working on details of its security relationship with the Afghan government once US forces left the country, he said.
