HERAT (Pajhwok): Journalists in western Herat province say they could lose their jobs if the Taliban return to power and foreign forces left the country.
A number of reporters say they are worried they will lose their meagre salaries if the country plunges into a political crisis after the pullout of foreign forces and the return of Taliban.
The journalists expressed concern over what they called a deplorable state of their work and said except a handful of national and international media outlets, most media outlets do not respect journalists' rights and privileges.
