KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani has urged the Muslim world to stand united against terrorist organisations.

Attacks on mosque and imams (prayer leaders) were against all Islamic teachings and human principles, the president told a ceremony on Friday evening.

While inaugurating the Shah Do-Shamshera Mosque, the president voiced pleasure at the reconstruction of the worship place.

He went on to denounce Friday’s attack on the Haji Bakhshi Mosque in the Shakar Dara district of Kabul. He expressed grief over the killings and wished the injured speedy recovery.

Ghani said the security of religious scholar was the responsibility of all people, particularly the government.
