KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested five people in connection with blowing up power pylons in Kabul, a police official said on Sunday.
Police spokesman Firdos Faramarz told Pajhwok Afghan News the suspects were arrested in Kalakan district after several power pylons were recently blown up and electricity supply disrupted across the country.
He said the security forces conducted an operation in Kalakan district and arrested the suspects with weapons and ammunition. Faramarz added the detainees were under investigation.
