JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A doctor has been wounded and his wife killed as a result of a sticky bomb explosion in eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Monday.
Farid Khan, spokesman for Nangarhar police, told Pajhwok Afghan News the sticky bomb attached to a vehicle exploded in Barikab area of Batikot district on the Jalalabad-Torkham highway on Sunday afternoon.
He said a woman was killed and a man wounded. The wounded man’s identity was yet to be established, the police official added.
