JALALABAD/FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): A police officer has been killed and another injured in separate incidents of violence in western Ghor and eastern Nangarhar province, officials said on Tuesday.
Deputy Police Chief of a police Jalalabad city’s 8th Police District was and three other policemen were injured in a roadside blast, Police Spokesperson Farid Khan said.
The incident happened near Behsud Bridge of the City, he said.
Jalalabad Zonal Hospital Spokesperson Gulzar Sangar said three injured people evacuated to the hospital from the site of the blast. One succumbed to wounds, he added.
