KABUL (Pajhwok): High Council for National Reconciliation chairman Abdullah Abdullah on Wednesday said peace and stability in Afghanistan meant peace and stability in the region and peace could not be achieved unilaterally as it required commitment and joint work from both sides.
A statement issued by the High Council for National Reconciliation said Abdullah attended a program celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party and the 122nd anniversary of Afghanistan's independence.
