KABUL (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen shot and killed a police officer in Kabul city on Wednesday.
A security source, wishing anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in the limits of Kabul’s eighth police district in the morning.
The source added, Colonel MohammadHalimRahimi, the administrative head of border police department, was killed by unknown assailants.
According to the source, no one has so far been arrested in connection with the murder but police were investigating.
The incidents comes a day after unidentified gunmen killed a security officer in limits of Kabul’s 12th police district.
