KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 27 suspects have been arrested in connection with criminal cases in different parts of capital Kabul.
Police spokesman FerduosFaramarz told Pajhwok Afghan News that the suspects had been detained during separate police operations in limits of 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 16th and 18th police districts of Kabul.
He said the suspects were involved in crimes such as murder, injury, mobile phone theft, illegal transfer of weapon, armed robbery, disturbing security and public order and car lifting and conflict.
Faramarz added that seven rounds of handguns were also seized by the police from the arrested individuals.
The coordination between police and the people under the Security Charter Program continued seriously and that was why criminals were not safe anywhere.
