TV anchor Khairi’s sister succumbs to her wounds

KABUL (Pajhwok): The sister of Ariana News anchor Mina Khairi succumbed to her wounds at a hospital in Kabul on Sunday.

Husnia Khairi was traveling along with her sister and mother in a vehicle that was struck by a bomb in Kabul on Thursday evening.

Mina Khairi, reporter with Ariana News, and her mother were killed on the spot in the bomb explosion.

Ariana News reported today that Husnia Khairi had succumbed to her critical injuries at a Kabul hospital.

There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombing so far.
