KABUL (Pajhwok): The United State Agency for International Development (USAID) on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to support peace process and enduring partnership with Afghanistan.
USAID Acting Assistant Administrator Freeman Mission Director Dooley-Jones sat down with the Afghan press to discuss their meetings in Kabul to advance peace and its enduring partnership with Afghanistan.
USAID on its twitter handler wrote: “This country's active media sector is one of the important gains over the past 20 years.”
“We will continue to partner with Afghanistan to #PreserveTheGains & advocate to #ProtectJournalists so as to defend citizens' rights to information, transparency & accountability.”
