3 imported electricity poles dynamited in Samangan

AIBAK (Pajhwok): At least three poles of imported electricity have been blown up and damaged in Qachandara area of northern Samangan province, officials said on Saturday.

Da Afghanistan BreshnaShirkat officials in Samangan in a statement said the poles were dynamited at around 10pm on Friday night and were partially damaged.

The statement said the power utility technicians had started repairing the poles and would probably be fixed soon.

It said destruction of electricity poles in the last two months had caused huge financial losses to the company in addition to disrupting electricity in Kabul and some other provinces.

Earlier two electricity poles were exploded in Salang district of central Parwwan province, which have not been so far repaired and then another pole was also blown up in the same area with four landmines.
