KABUL (Pajhwok): Fuel and ghee prices fell while other essential item rates remained unchanged during the outgoing week in Kabul, market sources said on Sunday.
Mohammad Javid, a jeweller in Lycee Mariam neighbourhood, said the price of one gram of Arabian gold decreased to 3,600afs from 3,700afs. The same quantity of the Russian variety fell to 2,950afs from 3,050afs.
The cost of ghee came down by two percent. Zmarai Safi, head of the Food Traders’ Union, said the price of a 16-litre tin of Malaysian ghee decreased from 2,000afs to 1,900afs.
