KABUL (Pajhwok): US Congressman Charles Schumer has hoped President Biden will stop the pull out of US forces from Afghanistan and would address concerns in this regard.
Soon after arriving in Washington, President Ghani and his delegation met Democratic Congress Leader Schumer and the Republican Congress Leader Michael McCaul.
After the meeting Senator McCaul Hoped that president Biden will halt the pull out of US troops from Afghanistan and would address prevailing concerns in this regard
All US forces from Afghanistan are expected to withdraw by September this year.
Lawmaker McCaul Said that Alqaeda was regrouping in Afghanistan and would re-emerge in two years.
He said if US strategy not changed this catastrophe may happen soon. Earlier US defense secretary warned that Alqaeda may re-emerge after the pull out of US forces.
Senator McCaul said the people of Afghanistan has the right to why the us suddenly stopped fighting and paved the way for more terrorist threats.
Earlier, US said that it will continue air support to Afghan security forces.
