GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): At least four policemen have been killed, including a police officer, in a bomb blast in southern Ghazni province, an official said on Monday.
Ghani police chief Hikmatullah Kochi told Pajhwok Afghan News the bomb hit the vehicle of 6th police district of the provincial capital, Younis Ramazani.
The blast occurred in Bakawal area on Sunday evening. He said four police personnel, including Ramazani, were killed and three others wounded.
The Taliban, who have recently stepped attacks across the country, have not yet commented about the blast in Bakawal.
Rahimullah, a resident of Ghazni City, said the security situation had deteriorated recently in the province.
